We’re Gas Safe registered with a verifiable ID number you can check before any work.
Sometimes — many retailers offer paid installation as an extra. Check at point of purchase. If you’d rather book installation directly with us, that’s fine — we can install any cooker delivered to your property, whether or not you bought the installation from the retailer. We’ll often be cheaper than the retailer’s installation price.
Yes — new gas pipework to a different cooker location is one of our common jobs. We survey first to confirm the new pipework can be routed properly, then design and install the new gas run with all necessary safety devices (isolator, restrictor where needed). Building control notification handled where required.
A bayonet connector is the standardised plug-and-socket gas connection used for freestanding cookers — it allows the cooker to be safely disconnected for cleaning or replacement. The bayonet should be replaced when fitting a new cooker as standard because the rubber seals inside wear over time, and a new connector ensures the gas-tight seal that’s essential for safety.
